John Ogu has saluted Hapoel Beer Sheva’s fans following their 1-0 victory over Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in Sunday’s Israeli Premier League outing at Turner Stadium.

The 29- year-old scored the match-winning goal against Yossi Abukasisto’s men to extend their winning run to three games.

The former Academica player who has featured in 21 games for Barak Bakhar’s men this season has taken to the social media to reflect on the result while also eulogising the Camels faithful for their support.

“Good day in the office last night. Dear fans, thank you for your support last night. With you together, we will succeed,” Ogu tweeted.

The win has helped the Israeli reigning champions consolidate their lead in the log with 59 points from 27 encounters and will next face second-placed Beitar Jerusalem on April 4, after the international break.

Ogu will be looking to replicate the form with the Super Eagles when they take on Poland and Serbia on March 23 and 27 respectively in friendly outings.
