Manchester United fans pondering whether three wins and two clean sheets count as a new era should find the visit of the early Premier League pacesetters an ideal way to test that tentative theory.

Arsenal enter the match one point above Manchester City and Tottenham at the summit after becoming the only side to win all five of their opening games by beating Aston Villa 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

There have been signs of fallibility for United to exploit. Arsenal were behind against Fulham before recovering to win 2-1 in the first of their successive home triumphs, then conceded an equaliser against the struggling Villans scored by Gunners transfer target Douglas Luiz.

Can United make it four on the spin, or will Arsenal continue their path of perfection? Here are the details on the game, teams and odds.

Manchester United vs. Arsenal predicted lineups

United will make a late call on whether new signing Antony will play, while forward Anthony Martial will miss the clash due to injury, manager Erik ten Hag has said.

The Red Devils signed Antony on a five-year contract for an initial fee of £82.2m ($94.6m) and the Brazil international, who played under Ten Hag at Ajax, took part in his first full team training session on Friday. Casemiro is also bidding to start his first game for the club.

Man United predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): De Gea (GK) — Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia — McTominay, Eriksen — Sancho, Fernandes, Elanga — Rashford

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale (thigh) and midfielder Martin Odegaard (foot) will be assessed ahead of Sunday's game, while defender Oleksandr Zinchenko is unlikely to feature after missing training.

Thomas Partey is expected to be out for "weeks" and fellow midfielder Mohamed Elneny will be sidelined for "months" after both suffered thigh injuries, manager Mikel Arteta has said.

Arsenal predicted lineup (4-2-3-1): Ramsdale (GK) — White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney — Xhaka, Lokonga — Saka, Smith Rowe, Martinelli — Jesus

Manchester United vs. Arsenal betting odds

United were dreadful at home to Brighton, but then looked inspired when Liverpool arrived. So it is unsurprising that the betting markets find little to choose between a team that has been winning somewhat unconvincingly and the visiting league leaders.

Arsenal have only lost one of the past seven editions of this fixture. That defeat came at Old Trafford last season, when both sides held the lead before Cristiano Ronaldo's second of the game sealed the points for a United team under the temporary management of Michael Carrick.
