After a recent foray into the music business, PSV striker Jurgen Locadia is embarking on a second career and hopes to go far in both.

The 23-year-old has released two house tracks and plans on spending more time making music over the close season.

With almost 160 first-team appearances for the Eindhoven side, however, Locadia is not finished with football.

The striker showed early promise as a 19-year-old when he scored a hat-trick on his 20-minute debut in the Eredivisie for PSV.

Since then, Locadia has flirted with an exit from the Philips Stadion due to a lack of regular playing time and injuries limited him to just 14 league appearances last season.

The attacker is confident of progressing in football and spoke of his desire to join Manchester United, but he has objectives in the music world too.

"If [the music] is well received, I want to continue doing it," Locadia told NOS. "Deep in my heart I dream of running a festival with 30,000 people.

"But I still hope to play football for a year or 11. Manchester United is my dream, but I would go through an intermediate step.

“I like the path Georginio Wijnaldum took from Newcastle United to Liverpool.”

The Netherlands U20 international still has three years left on his contract with Phillip Cocu's side, and says he has a lot to offer off the field as well as on it.

"I've been asked by PSV to create a special club song, but I have not had time to do it yet," he added.
