Liverpool have lowered their asking price for striker Daniel Sturridge, who is being chased by Inter, reports sportitalia (via insidefutbol).
The report claims that Liverpool now want just €1 million for a loan fee, with a €20m option to buy.
Liverpool set to sign Falkirk defender
Liverpool are set to sign Falkirk defender Tony Gallacher, report the Scottish Sun .
The 18-year-old has spent the week on trial at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp has sanctioned a bid worth £200,000, which Falkirk have accepted.
Gallacher has won caps at three Scottish youth levels - Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18.
Reds to miss out on Inter starlet
Liverpool are set to miss out on Inter youngster Zinho Vanheusden, with the club set to loan the centre-back to Standard Liege, according to Sky Italia (via Inside Futbol).
The Serie A side are not ready to let the 18-year-old leave for good, preferring to loan him out and let him develop.
West Ham bid £12m for Norwich star
West Ham United have made a £12 million bid for Norwich City midfielder James Maddison, according to The Guardian.
The 21-year-old has been linked with several Premier League sides, with Liverpool and Tottenham also credited with an interest.
Norwich will likely reject West Ham's bid, hoping to generate a higher fee for Maddison.
Liverpool consider Rondon
Liverpool are considering a move for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon, according to The Sun.
The Venezuela international has just 18 months left on his contract at The Hawthorns, though he is keen to remain with the Baggies.
Should Jurgen Klopp's side make their move for Rondon, they are likely to be competing for his signature with local rivals Everton, who are also keen on the former Zenit forward.
Spartak want Liverpool winger
Spartak Moscow are interested in signing Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Markovic hasn’t made a first-team appearance for Liverpool this season, and was wanted by Fiorentina during the summer transfer window.
Watford and West Brom have been linked with January bids, and now Russian side Spartak are making a move to sign the Serbian.
Liverpool not in Luan talks
Liverpool are not in talks to sign Gremio striker Luan, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Reports had suggested that, following the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, Liverpool had opened discussions to bring in another Brazilian, with Luan having an €18 million release clause in his contract.
However, there are reportedly no talks taking place to sign the South American Footballer of the Year, who has also been a target for Arsenal and Barcelona.
Liverpool could loan out youngsters
Liverpool could allow more youngsters to head out on loan before the January transfer window closes, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The likes of Matty Virtue and Corey Whelan have gone out on loan recently, and they could be joined by Harry Wilson, Ovie Ejaria and Lloyd Jones.
The club’s Under-23 coach Neil Critchley said: “More loans is a possibility. You look at Harry, Ovie and we still have Lloyd with us at the moment. They would be the three who would come under the radar of other clubs.”
Inter favourites to land Sturridge
Inter remain in pole position to land Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Sturridge is not in Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans, and is keen to secure a loan move for the remainder of the season.
Inter's interest, however, remains the only concrete offer on the table so far for the striker, who is reportedly reluctant to move to Serie A.
Sevilla can't agree Vidal fee
Sevilla are struggling to agree a fee with Barcelona to bring Aleix Vidal back to the club, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Vidal signed for Barca in the summer of 2015, but will be allowed to leave Camp Nou in January, with Sevilla leading the chase for the right-back.
However, Barcelona want €12 million for the 28-year-old, with Sevilla hoping the price will be dropped after offering €8m up front plus €2m in add-ons so far.
Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with an approach for Vidal, but only a huge financial offer is expected to tempt him to the Premier League.
Man Utd push for Seri deal
Manchester United will aim to follow up the signing of Alexis Sanchez by agreeing a deal for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, claims The Sun.
Alexis completed his move to United from Arsenal on Monday, and now Jose Mourinho wants an agreement in place to sign Seri, either this month or in the summer.
Seri is also an option for Manchester City, although the Ivory Coast international is viewed as a back-up to prime target Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred.
Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool have all previously shown an interest in Seri, but Mourinho hopes United can beat their rivals to the signing of the 26-year-old.
Sturridge to snub Serie A for Valencia
Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge is not interested in a move to Serie A, TuttoMercato reports.
Inter and Roma are said to have been monitoring the England international, but Sturridge has informed Liverpool that he'd prefer to sign with Valencia.
