Both sides desperately need a strong result after slow starts to the young campaign. Milan are especially desperate after securing just one point from their first two games of the year, most recently a 2-1 defeat to Parma that saw Pulisic's goal come up short against their newly-promoted opponents.
Lazio won their first match against Venezia comfortably, but fell last time out at Udinese in an early setback of their own.
