Canada's interim head coach Michael Findlay has announced the team's 18-man roster for a Nov. 11 friendly against Korea Republic.
The Canadians will travel to Cheonan with a new player on board, as goalkeeper Jayson Leutwiler will look to earn his first international cap after joining the program last month.
The rest of the roster is made up of familiar faces, with Cyle Larin re-joining after missing out on Canada's friendlies in October due to club commitments. No players from Toronto FC or the Montreal Impact were selected, with both still involved in MLS playoffs.
Even without any TFC or Impact players, six of the 18 men named were domestically based. The location and strength of the opponent will be a challenge for the side, according to Findlay.
"We are looking to set a real solid performance standard with this match," the coach said in a statement. "The travel and logistics of this camp and opponent we will face in this match also provides us with an opportunity to assess the players' ability to adapt both on and off the field."
