Julie and Zach Ertz share a decade of love together, from college sweethearts to professional power couple.
The pair met in 2012 through mutual friends at a Stanford baseball game. Zach was playing football for the Cardinal and Julie was playing soccer for Santa Clara.
They started dating long distance in 2013 when Zach was drafted by the Eagles and Julie later was drafted by the NWSL's Red Stars. They got engaged in February 2016 at the very stadium they first met and wed a year later.

Along with their sporting careers, philanthropy is another important part of their marriage.
The couple started the Ertz Family Foundation in 2018 with a mission to "empower others by sharing faith, learning through sports and advancing education," the foundation's Instagram bio reads.
Julie, from Mesa, Ariz., and Zach, from Orange, Calif., were both traded back to the West Coast in 2021 — Julie went to Angel City in Los Angeles and Zach to the Cardinals in Phoenix. Since then, the pair have offered a helping hand in their communities, pledging to provide 500,000 meals to fight hunger in 2022 after donating 150,000 meals to Arizona food banks in 2021.
