Seattle Sounders forward Jordan Morris was named Major League Soccer's Rookie of the Year.
Morris wins Goal USA's Rookie of the Year
The league announced the first of its postseason awards on Thursday, with Morris edging out NYCFC's Jack Harrison and the Philadelphia Union's Keegan Rosenberry for the honor.

Morris, 22, entered MLS as one of the most promising American players in recent memory after making his debut with the U.S. national team as a college player in 2015.
He signed with Seattle as a homegrown player on Jan. 21, 2016, and made his Sounders debut as a starter on March 6.
Morris ended a fantastic MLS season with 12 goals and four assists in 34 games (32 starts).
Morris won the award with an average of 44.95 percent of the vote across media, players and clubs. Rosenberry finished second in the voting where he averaged 30.6 percent. Harrison averaged 15.12 percent of the vote.
