Chelsea and Arsenal agree Giroud fee
Having missed out on signing Edin Dzeko, Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, reports Gianluca DiMarzio .
The Blues were unable to land Roma striker Dzeko and have now shaken hands on a £15 million fee plus incentives for the France international.
The move will enable Michy Batshuayi to leave Stamford Bridge on loan, with Borussia Dortmund linked witht the Belgian.
West Brom land Sturridge on loan
Daniel Sturridge has joined West Brom on loan from Liverpool, with the Baggies beating Inter and Premier League rivals Newcastle United to the striker's signature.
Both clubs have confirmed the deal with West Brom paying a £2 million loan fee and the entirety of Sturridge's £120,000 a week wages
Newcastle appeared to be in the lead for Sturridge, only to have West Brom emerge as the actual destination for the England international.
Chelsea's Musonda joins Celtic on loan
Charly Musonda has completed an 18-month long loan move from Chelsea to Scottish Premiership giants Celtic, the clubs have confirmed.
Celtic beat a host of clubs to the 21-year-old midfielder, including Real Betis, Leganes and Nottingham Forest, whilst several English clubs were also thought to be interested.
Watford take Deulofeu on loan
Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu is heading back to England having agreed a loan move to Watford for the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
The Hornets will pay the entirety of Deulofeu's salary in addition to a €1 million fee.
Deulofeu previous played two season with Everton before going out on loan to AC Milan in 2016-17 and returning to Barcelona prior to the current campaign.
Lucas travels to London complete Spurs move
Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura is travelling to London to complete a £25 million move to Tottenham, Goal understands.
The winger is not in PSG boss Unai Emery’s plans, with the manager telling the attacker to find a new club due to lack of available playing time.
While Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked to Lucas, Lucas is headed to London to undergo a medical at Spurs that will take place Tuesday.
Madrid to anger Ronaldo and pay Neymar €50m per year
Real Madrid are prepared to make Neymar the highest-paid player on the planet if they can sign him from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Don Balon .
Los Blancos would need to part with a fee of €300 million to get PSG to part with the former Barcelona star and then hand him a salary approaching €50m per season.
That could set up a conflict with Cristiano Ronaldo who makes €25m per season and wants a new contract.
Emerson set for Chelsea medical
Emerson Palmieri will travel to London for a medical as he looks to complete a £17.5 million move to Chelsea, Goal understands.
The left-back has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with Antonio Conte's side and will be their second signing of the January window after Ross Barkley.
Chelsea loan Rahman back to Schalke
Chelsea's Baba Rahman has returned to Schalke on an 18 month loan deal, it has been confirmed.
The full-back was sent on loan to the German club at the start of last season but saw his season ended early when he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear in January.

Emery confused by Pastore comments
Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery claims Javier Pastore’s comments about leaving the club do not match his own conversations with the player.
Pastore had previously stated he was interested in a move away from the Ligue 1 giants in the hope of securing playing time to earn a spot in Argentina’s 2018 World Cup squad.
However, Emery claims he wants the playmaker to remain in the French capital for the remainder of the season.

Spurs in race against time to secure Lucas Moura
Tottenham are facing a race against time to sign Lucas Moura before the January window closes on Wednesday, reports ESPN .
The north London club are yet to agree a fee with PSG, with the French club wanting €30 million for the Brazilian winger, although they could well settle on a deal at €25m.
Should a transfer fee be agreed, Spurs will then need to sort out a work permit for the player, with the 11pm BST Wednesday deadline fast approaching.
Juve's Can talks 'well underway'
Talks between Juventus and Liverpool midfielder Emre Can are progressing well, according to the Serie A champions' chief executive Giuseppe Marotta.
The Germany international has long been linked with a move to Turin and is free to discuss terms with the club as he has entered the final six months of his contract at Anfield.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted to DAZN on Saturday there was a good chance Can would allow his contract to run down rather than sign an extension, although he insisted the player would not leave during the January transfer window.

Batshuayi to join Dortmund on loan
Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is to join Borussia Dortmund on loan as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang prepares to complete his move to Arsenal, according to Bild .
Arsenal have agreed a £55 million fee with Dortmund to sign Aubameyang and the Gabon international could finalise his transfer to Emirates Stadium on Monday.
Dortmund have been looking for a replacement and, after Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud decided to remain in England, the Bundesliga club have turned to Batshuayi.
Belgium international Batshuayi has acknowledged his future is in the hands of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte , but he looks set to head to Dortmund for the rest of the season.
PSG won't block Pastore exit
Paris Saint-Germain remain reluctant to part with Javier Pastore but will sanction a transfer if the terms are right, claims his agent.
The Argentine playmaker has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes for some time now amid fierce competition for places.

Brandt deal to frustrate Liverpool & Barca
Julian Brandt is open to signing a new contract to commit his future to Bayer Leverkusen despite being linked to European giants including Barcelona, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Germany international Brandt told Omnisport in October it was an "honour" to be linked with Barcelona , while Bayern hold a long-term interest in the 21-year-old.

Arsenal close in on £60m Auba signing
