Zambia international Patson Daka says his strike for Liefering in Friday's Austrian Erste division game 'means a lot' to him.

The 19-year-old's 34th minute effort inspired his side's to a 4-2 win against Austria Lustenau at Reichshofstadion, and he is pleased over regaining his scoring form.

The forward's effort was his third in nine appearances this season for Janusz Gora's side, who are now fourth in the log.

"It's an amazing feeling getting back to full fitness, which I'm happy about because it's not easy staying away not doing what you love to do," Daka told Goal.

"I missed some important games for my country and my club but I have no regrets because everything in life happens to the goodness of the Lord.

"To score means a lot to me. It's a motivation for me to work extra hard. My club and country expect a lot from every player, so for me to be given the chance, I have to do my very best to help the team.

"I want to say big congratulations to my teammates for the great fight we put up away from home and the lovely support they give me to recover from my injury."

Daka is expected to join the Chipolopolo for their dead rubber Fifa World Cup qualifier clash with Cameroon on October 10.
