Famed streamer IShowSpeed tried to channel the incredible fitness and dedication of Cristiano Ronaldo while attempting a world record feat of his own.
Wearing a Portugal No. 7 kit with Ronaldo on the back, Darren Watkins attempted to set the record for most backflips in 24 hours, set at 1001 by Nico Scheicher of Austria in 2019 in the span of just nine hours.
The 19-year-old has made the backflip something of a signature move, but his attempt was news to Guinness World Records which hilariously replied to his social media post, "We had no idea this was happening but you do you bro."

Watkins said he had been "practicing for the last week" by doing situps and pushups.
The challenge began strong, as with 19 hours to go he had completed 461 backflips, nearly halfway there. But he slammed on the brakes, and said "my legs are done."
He contemplated taking a nap, saying "I'm so tired, I've been drinking electrolytes, I don't know what else [to do]." Meanwhile, a friend brought apple slices and peanut butter.
Unfortunately, it wasn't to be, as he reached 660 backflips in 19 hours before his legs gave out and he couldn't complete the challenge. "That sh*t's GG's bro," he said, referencing the popular gamer shorthand for "good game."
IShowSpeed is well known for his affection of Cristiano Ronaldo, even going so far as to buy a Lamborghini with Ronaldo artwork earlier this year. Watkins met Ronaldo in 2023 and was beside himself, dropping to his knees and screaming while hugging the Portugal star.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, is known for his religious-like dedication to fitness and health, which has played a major role in continuing his professional career at a high level while nearing 40 years old.
