Liverpool's era under Arne Slot begins as they travel to the east coast of England to take on newly promoted side Ipswich Town in the early kickoff on Saturday.

Kieran McKenna was tipped with a big move away from the Tractor Boys at the start of the summer transfer window but he remains as the head coach for their first campaign in top-flight football in over 20 years.

Ipswich Town's first top-flight starting XI has been announced and it sees a slight tactical change for the Tractor Boys. 

McKenna's men go with four at the back with former Man United defender Axel Tuanzebe starting.

In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister joins Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch. Up top it's Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota
