Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman is attracting interest from clubs in Germany, Italy and England, according to Goal sources, but will wait to speak with Stamford Bridge chiefs in the summer before making a final decision. 

The Ghana defender is currently on loan at Schalke but is out for the season after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament injury in January while playing in the African Cup of Nations. 

Schalke are not thought to be one of the clubs interested in a permanent deal, while Baba has yet to resolve his future with Chelsea where he could yet still stay. He will conduct summer talks with the club once Antonio Conte's men finish their campaign as they aim to earn a Premier League and FA Cup double in the Italian's debut season. 

Mourinho targets Willian reunion

Baba previously admitted that Conte saw him as "too offensive" in an interview back in August 2016 and was told that it may be best to leave the club temporarily - having joined Conte on a pre-season tour of Austria and America. 

The 22-year-old is due to return from his injury in July and there are thought to be no complications in his recovery from the knee injury.

Baba joined Chelsea from Augsburg for £21.7 million in August 2015 but failed to establish himself as a regular starter under Jose Mourinho or Guus Hiddink.
