Lionel Messi may or may not be on the pitch, but defending Leagues Cup champions Inter Miami will take the field regardless as they meet Liga MX side Tigres in Houston for their group stage finale.

Both clubs have already qualified for the knockout stage thanks to victories over Pachuca, so this match will only serve to determine the final positioning. Thanks to a one-goal differential advantage, Inter Miami only need to draw to top the group, while Tigres must win.

While the competitive stakes are low, this match presents an interesting meeting between two strong clubs in their respective leagues. The Herons currently sit atop the MLS Eastern Conference standings and lead the Supporters' Shield race, while Tigres are unbeaten through their first four matches of the young Apertura season.
