Perennial men's soccer powerhouse Indiana will get its 2024 season underway on Friday against the Billikens of St. Louis.

The Hoosiers are ranked No. 7 in the country but face questions in their quest to meet the lofty expectations set by last season's conference championship and subsequent run to the quarterfinals of theNCAA Tournament.

Indiana welcomes a massive 14 newcomers this season as the Hoosiers saw several key players from last year's squad depart. Yet, the recruiting class was not one to receive significant praise, ranked 64th in the country by Rivals. That ranks third from the bottom in the Big 10, while teams like Ohio State and Michigan were ranked in the top 15 nationally.

St. Louis, meanwhile, is looking for improvement on last season's 8-4-5 finish, seeing its campaign come to a gut-wrenching close in a penalty shootout defeat against UMass in the A-10 tournament title game.
