Steven Gerrard has dropped a major hint that he is leaving the LA Galaxy as speculation over his next move intensifies.

The 36-year-old is set to be out of contract with the MLS side after an 18-month stay, with the club's penalty shootout defeat to Colorado Rapids in the Western Conference semifinals on Nov. 6 likely to be his last appearance for the club.

Gerrard posted a picture on Instagram on Sunday evening, posing in front of the LA city lights.

"Special place, incredible view, I will miss you LA," he wrote, followed by the hashtag lalaland.
