Euro 2024 is finally here with hosts Germany taking on Scotland at the Allianz Arena for the curtain raiser of a month-long summer spectacle.
All eyes will be on Julian Nagelsmann's side to get off to a winning start with the Germans keen to avoid another major tournament disappointment — they were dumped out in the group stages of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
On the flip side, Scotland has never made it into the knockout rounds of a major tournament and Steve Clarke's men will find out just how good their chances are of ending that dismal record with a tough test on the opening night.
With Hungary and Switzerland also making up Group A, Scotland will fancy its chances to progress as runners-up if Germany wins the group as expected.
