Colorado Rapids midfielder Shkelzen Gashi has won MLS' Goal of the Year award for his strike against the Vancouver Whitecaps in September.

Gashi broke a 2-2 tie with a lovely swerving free kick that flew into the top corner.

Orlando City goalkeeper Joe Bendik was the MLS Save of the Year winner for his double-save against Sporting Kansas City.

Both awards were announced at halftime of the USA's World Cup qualifying match against Mexico.
