Sofiane Fegholi and Younes Belhanda have won their maiden Turkish Super Lig title after Galatasaray defeated Goztepe 1-0 on the final day of the 2017/18 season.

League top scorer Bafetimbi Gomis' second-half penalty was all that was needed to help the visitors emerge victorious, with Fenerbache and İstanbul Başakşehir breathing down their neck.

Feghouli played for 64 minutes while Belhanda came off late in the game.

Both summer signings were instrumental in the Cimbom's success this campaign which also saw them return to the Uefa Champions League after a fourth place last season could only guarantee a Europa League spot.

Algeria international Feghouli joined Fatih Terim's side last summer from West Ham United for a fee of €4.3 million and played 27 league games where he had a hand in 15 goals [six goals, nine assists].

His counterpart, Belhanda spent last season on loan at French outfit before securing a permanent move from parent club Dynamo Kyiv ahead of the 2017-18 season.

Gala's No. 10 provided eight goals and finished off three others in 30 Turkish top-flight games to help coach Terim to a record seventh Super Lig title and a 21st for the Türk Telekom Stadı outfit.  Overall, the African duo were directly involved in 26 of Galatasaray's 75 goals.
