FC Dallas has announced the signings of Argentine right back Hernan Grana and Venezuelan midfielder Carlos Cermeno.

Grana joins on a season-long loan from Club Atlético All Boys, with FCD retaining the option to purchase the defender at the end of the season. The right back has spent over 11 seasons in the Argentine top flight, and also played seven matches for the Columbus Crew in 2015 before returning to Argentina due to homesickness.

Why right back Raul Lopez could hit it big with Mexico in Vegas

“We feel that Hernan will feel very much at home here in Dallas,” FC Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo said in a club release. “He will be the sixth Argentine in our locker room, along with several other South Americans and Spanish-speakers. He is now in an ideal position to excel on and off the pitch.”

Cermeno, 21, joins from Venezuelan top-flight side Deportivo Tachira, where he's made 95 appearances over the past four seasons. He earned his first cap for Venezuela in March 2016.
