Fantasy Football: Tottenham trio lead our Premier League Team of the Week image

Week 16 of the Premier League season is behind us and there’s not much time to reflect before line ups lock again on Tuesday. In advance of the midweek fixtures, just make sure to get through your team and ensure that no more than two of your players are potential rotation risks. Some will be surprise misses over the next few weeks of course, but there’s no need to panic.

Remember that everyone else is dealing with the same issues and there’s always extra transfers if you need them. Now, in the interim, let's look at the Goal Fantasy Team of the Week.

GK: Adrian - West Ham - 1 Game, 2 Saves, 1 Clean Sheet = 8 Points

DF: Zanka - Huddersfield - 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

Zanka, formally known as Mathias Jorgensen, was a Fantasy monster at the start of the season and it’s great to see him playing well again. Coming into this match, Huddersfield had conceded two or more goals in four of the previous five matches. You should probably avoid buying him for now, but solid performances against Chelsea and Watford could make him an interesting option in advance of Boxing Day.

DF: Christopher Schindler - Huddersfield - 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

Fernandinho Otamendi Manchester United Manchester City Premier League 10122017

DF: Nicolas Otamendi - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

MF: Son Heung-Min - Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 2 Assists = 14 Points

If Son played every week he would likely be one of the best Fantasy assets in the Goal game. If you are brave enough to have him in your team, matches like Saturday’s are your reward as the Korean winger was rampant against the left side of Stoke’s defence. He is likely to get the start midweek against Brighton and should play well, but playing time concerns will continue to hurt his ownability.

MF: Christian Eriksen - Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

MF: Mohamed Salah - Liverpool - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

MF: Riyad Mahrez - Leicester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

He struggled through most of last year, but it seems as though 2014/15 Riyad Mahrez is finally back. The Algerian has already taken part in more goals (11) than he did in all of last season (10) notching four goals and four assists in the last 10 matches. Those performances have landed him in the top five of midfielders in the Goal game, and he’s at least £600k cheaper than those in front of him. Mahrez is definitely worth an own.

Harry Kane, Tottenham

FWD: Harry Kane - Tottenham - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points

The England striker has admittedly been a bit hot and cold this season but not owning him is a massive risk. He currently has the second most goals in the Premier League this season despite blanking in nine matches already this season. His shot accuracy is currently listing well below his career average but, if that normalises, Kane could see the net bulge plenty in the coming weeks.

FWD: Steve Mounie - Huddersfield - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points

FWD: Jermain Defoe - Bournemouth - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points
