Manchester City narrowly defeated Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinal to reach their second successive final thanks to a late Bernardo Silva goal.
To find out if we'll be watching back-to-back Manchester derby FA Cup finals, we await to find out the result between Coventry City and Manchester United in the other semifinal. They play each other on April 21.
Pep Guardiola's men bounced back after being knocked out of the Champions League in midweek to Real Madrid. While they looked incredibly tired at times, they got the job done.
Guardiola had lots to say post-match about the arrangement of his side playing on the Saturday instead of Sunday:
"Why play today and not tomorrow, when Coventry, Chelsea, and United didn’t play in the midweek?
"Why not have one more day for the health of the players? Tell me how you prepare this final against Chelsea in the best moment of the season. How? It’s impossible. There’s no chance," he added.
