EXTRA TIME: Yaya Toure links up with Dutch legend Ruud Gullit image

Four-time African Footballer of the Year Yaya Toure was delighted to meet former Chelsea and LA Galaxy manager Ruud Gullit at the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

The Cote d’Ivoire international was in Russia as a pundit for a sports television channel, after his country failed to qualify from their qualification group, at the expense of Morocco.

Toure got over the disappointment by having a great time at the quadrennial showpiece with some football legends.

In 2012, former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini likened the midfield maestro to Gullit who won the Ballon d’Or in 1987and led Netherlands to Euro 1988 triumph as a captain.

During his stay in Russia, the African legend worked with Egypt legend Mohamed Aboutrika and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in the studio.

Toure is still in search for a new club after ending his eight-year stay with Manchester City at the end of the 2017-18 season.
