The quarterfinal matchups at Euro 2021 are set.

England will be playing a quarterfinal in Rome after beating Germany 2-0 in the big match of the Round of 16. At the Stadio Olimpico the English will face Ukraine , which defeated Sweden 2-1 with a dramatic late goal in extra time.

In one of the wildest days in Euros history on Monday, Switzerland shocked the soccer world by eliminating World Cup champion France on penalty kicks after a 3-3 draw. That result followed a 5-3 win by Spain over Croatia, a match which also went to extra time. Those two winners will meet in the quarters in Russia.

Denmark blanked Wales 4-0  and it will face the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals after the Czechs upset the Netherlands 2-0 .

Italy needed extra time to oust Austria 2-1  and the Azzurri will match up against the No. 1-ranked team in the world, Belgium , which took care of defending champions Portugal 1-0 .

The four quarterfinals will be held at four different venues on July 2 and July 3:

  • Quarterfinal #2 (July 2): Munich, Germany
  • Quarterfinal #3 (July 3): Baku, Azerbaijan
  • Quarterfinal #4 (July 3): Rome, Italy
