Eric Choupo-Moting and Ramadan Sobhi were on target in Stoke City’s 3-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion in Saturday’s English Premier League encounter.

Joe Allen put the Potters in front in the 19th minute when he latched home from Peter Crouch’s shot and, just before the break, Choupo-Moting pounced on a poor back pass from Gareth Barry, rounded goalkeeper Ben Foster before slotting home his fourth goal of the season.

In the 51st minute, Salomon Rondon reduced the deficit for Alan Pardew’s men. But substitute Sobhi killed any intention of a comeback after grabbing the third for the hosts on the stroke of full time, with Choupo-Moting the creator.

The goal was the Egypt winger's first goal in the English Premier League this season. It was also the 20-year-old's first since his strike in their win over Rochdale in the League Cup in August.

Choupo-Moting featured from start to finish while Senegal's Mame Diouf was a second-half substitute as Mark Hughes’ men secured their fifth top-flight win this season.

Both players will be looking to continue with this impressive form when Stoke travel to the John Smith's Stadium to tackle Huddersfield Town on Boxing day.
