England is going back to the World Cup semifinals for the first time since 1990 thanks to the heads of Dele Alli and Harry Maguire.
The Three Lions looked like they were knocking on the door throughout the entire game. Sweden's defense held firm until another set piece goal gave England an early lead.

It wasn't all just the offense for England, however. Jordan Pickford had a few brilliant saves to keep the clean sheet for his side, each just as, if not more, brilliant than the last. Now, Gareth Southgate's team will have to wait to see who emerges victorious between Russia and Croatia for their semifinal opponent.

28' — England with two crosses into the box that were deflected by Swedish defenders. It's hard to tell whether they're knocking on the door, or if Sweden has England right where they want them.

13' — Longshot from outside the box from Larsson that goes right above Pickford's net. Pickford is justifiably irritated with his defenders for not closing down.
10' — Raheem Sterling's pace threatened a Swedish defender and forced the man in yellow to kick the ball out to give England a threatening throw-in.
7' — English foul leads to a Swedish free kick, but the pass goes out of bounds and goes back to England.
6' — Dele Alli has a great opportunity to start a counter-attack when he stole a bad touch from a Swedish defender. His pass to Harry Kane was too strong and the Swedish keeper had no problem picking it up.
