"We've always believed Marc was a high-potential player," Earthquakes interim general manager Chris Leitch said in a news release. "At just 22 years old, we think Marc's best days on the field are ahead of him."
The Liverpool academy product has represented the U.S. at the Under-17, U-20 and U-23 levels and received multiple senior team call-ups. Pelosi made 12 appearances for the Earthquakes in 2015 after joining midway through the campaign.
