Diouf hails resilient Stoke City vs. Leicester City image

Mame Diouf has heaped praises on Stoke City after they fought they back to secure a 2-2 draw against Leicester City in Saturday’s English Premier League tie at the bet365 Stadium.

Mark Hughes’ men required the intervention of substitute Peter Crouch to deny their impressive visitors the maximum points after Riyad Mahrez’s second half goal looked to have won it for them.

Nice team spirit. Came back twice, but that’s not enough 😕🔴⚪️

Vincente Iborra got the opener for the Foxes before Xherdan Shaqiri drew them level. The Algeria international then restored the lead but saw the veteran England striker deny victory with a 73rd minute header.

And Diouf, who played for 86 minutes, took to the social media to hails his team’s resilience while stating they could have pushed for victory.
