D.C. United has announced it has signed veteran attacker Sebastien Le Toux as a free agent on a one-year contract.
Le Toux, 33, joins after spending the second half of 2016 with the Colorado Rapids following a midseason trade from the Philadelphia Union.

“Sebastien has proven over eight MLS seasons that he is a valuable asset to teams in this league,” United general manager Dave Kasper said in a club release. “His tremendous work rate, ability to score and create goals along with his experience make him a great acquisition for the club.”
The French attacker has made 247 MLS regular season appearances since making his league debut with Seattle in 2009. Le Toux has 57 goals and 57 assists in his MLS career, making him the only active player other than Landon Donovan to go over 50 in both categories.
