Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed one of the highlights of his incredible career when he helped inspire Portugal to Euro 2016 glory.
He then finished as joint-top scorer at Euro 2020, despite the Selecao's campaign ending in the Round of 16.
Ronaldo will be 39 at Euro 2024 in Germany but he remains a formidable goal scorer at international level, with an all-time men’s record haul of 130. That includes 10 in nine appearances during qualification and, at some point, most European nations have been on the wrong end of a Ronaldo goal haul.
As Euro 2024 approaches the knockout phase, The Sporting News takes a look at Ronaldo’s record against the nations that will try to shackle him in Group F.

Cristiano Ronaldo's record against Czechia
Czech supporters hoped for the end of a sequence when it came to facing Ronaldo at European Championships.
Their country faced Portugal at Euro 2008 and Euro 2012, losing both games and with Ronaldo scoring on each occasion. In their most recent meetings during the 2022/23 Nations League, Czechia lost home and away but Ronaldo was unable to find the net.
This game pitted the joint-top scorers from Euro 2020 against one another after Ronaldo and Patrik Schick scored five apiece. Neither got on the scoresheet in Portugal's 2-1 win.
Cristiano Ronaldo's record against Turkey
Turkey are one of the few international opponents to have emerged unscathed from four meetings with Ronaldo.
Well, unscathed might be pushing it given they lost 2-0 to the Selecao in their opening game of Euro 2008 and 3-1 during World Cup qualification a decade later. But Ronaldo didn't score in either match — as was also the case in a June 2012 friendly that Turkey won 3-1.
Turkey's fourth match against Ronaldo also ended in defeat, but once again Ronaldo fired a blank — although he did register a record seventh Euro finals assist in their second match of Euro 2024.
Cristiano Ronaldo's record against Georgia
Portugal had already won the group by the time they faced Georgia, so Martinez fielded a much-changed team with Ronaldo again leading the line. He was substituted just after an hour, with his side trailing 2-0.
A scoreless 45-minute outing in a friendly against Georgia prior to Euro 2008 was Ronaldo's only previous experience of this particular fixture.
