Cristiano Ronaldo has set incomparable records throughout his long and illustrious career, but as his playing days steam towards the conclusion, he's hoping to usher in the next generation of goal scoring superstars.
The Portuguese international hopes that his son will be amongst that next set of star players, with 14-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. currently playing for Al Nassr's youth team.
But while his father continues to steam ahead with his own incredible career, he has been on hand to watch the elder Ronaldo dazzle for his Saudi Pro League club.

After being held without a goal in his last league game, and then sitting out for their AFC Champions League opener due to illness, Ronaldo Sr. was back on the scoresheet for Al Nassr as he bagged a penalty against Al Ettifaq on Friday, September 20 to open the scoring in the match.
The strike marked Ronaldo's 902nd career goal, having been celebrated for hitting the 900-goal mark just a few weeks prior. It also gave him eight goals in seven games this season, a year removed from setting the single-season Saudi Pro League scoring record with 35 on the 2023/24 campaign.

While celebrating his latest goal, Ronaldo found his son in the crowd and pointed before showing three fingers to his protegee. With Ronaldo Jr. having scored two goals for the Al Nassr youth team earlier that afternoon, his "three" indicated their combined goals on the day.
