Now 25 years old, Christian Pulisic is already one of the most accomplished Americans to ever play the sport of soccer.

He's the highest-scoring American ever in the Champions League with eight career goals, and he has hoisted multiple trophies both with his club teams and with the U.S. men's national team.

Already with a trophy under his belt at Borussia Dortmund, Pulisic's move to Chelsea in 2019 gave the USMNT star an even better chance to add to his trophy case. He made the most of his time in London, winning multiple titles and playing in several finals for both club and country.

Additionally, his time with the U.S. national team has seen Pulisic achieve even more international accolades. While the men's team missed out on the 2018 World Cup in painful fashion, the most recent World Cup cycle for Qatar 2022 has seen the team improve dramatically, and victories over rivals Mexico have turned the tide. Along with qualifying for the showcase FIFA event, the team played for multiple trophies and achieved success.

Pulisic moved to AC Milan in the summer of 2023 seeking more playing time, and he enjoyed immediate returns by finishing his first season as the club's second-leading goal scorer across all competitions. However, he has yet to win a trophy with the Italian side or play in a final.

Across both club and international play, Christian Pulisic has hoisted trophies and collected medals. The young American began his senior career as a teenager with Borussia Dortmund in Germany before moving to Chelsea in 2019.

He also made his international debut in 2016 and has helped the U.S. to rebuild after missing the 2018 World Cup.

Most notably, Pulisic is the only American to ever win the UEFA Champions League, triumphing with Chelsea in 2021.

Pulisic has also been named USA men's soccer player of the year three times, in 2017, 2019, and 2021.

The USMNT won the 2021 Gold Cup, but Pulisic was not part of that squad.

Christian Pulisic cup finals lost

While the American has collected a fair few trophies already through his career, he's also suffered some finals heartbreak.

In fact, the year prior to winning the DFB Pokal with Borussia Dortmund — the first major trophy of his senior career — he reached the final but fell in heartbreaking fashion to Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich. Pulisic, just 17 years old at the time, was an unused substitute on the bench.

He has also suffered defeat in three domestic cup finals with Chelsea, twice in the FA Cup and once in the EFL Cup.

With the national team, he fell in the 2019 Gold Cup final before winning his first silverware with the USMNT two years later at the inaugural CONCACAF Nations League.
