The Spain international is wanted back at Atletico Madrid, but they are working under a transfer ban and Antonio Conte is not prepared to offer the striker pre-season minutes while his future is resolved.


CHELSEA IN FOR €70M AUBAMEYANG

Chelsea have turned their attentions to Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, according to Marca .

The Blues are apparently ready to pay €70 million to land the Gabon international and are currently ahead of PSG in the race to sign the 28-year-old forward.

Nerazzurri boss Luciano Spalletti praised the Belgium international in a press conference on Sunday and it has been reported he wants to reunite with him. Although Inter are preparing an offer, Roma are looking to hold onto their star player, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United, as they look to challenge Juventus next season.

Madrid president Florentino Perez wants €70 million for James and has reportedly already offered him to Chelsea as part of a double deal involving Alvaro Morata. Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown an interest in James.


CHELSEA OFFERED €150M MADRID DUO

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has offered Chelsea the chance to sign Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez for a combined €150 million, claims Diario Gol .

Perez is keen to free up funds, and space in the first-team squad, to secure a deal for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, and is prepared to sell Morata and James.

Morata has emerged as a leading target for Chelsea following Romelu Lukaku’s decision to join Manchester United, who had previously been interested in the Spain international, but had baulked at Madrid’s €90 million asking price.

Now, in an attempt to offload both Morata and Colombian playmaker James, Perez has contacted Chelsea to offer the pair as a package.
