Chelsea face a crucial summer ahead of the 2023/24 Premier League season as the Blues look to recover from a difficult 12 months at Stamford Bridge.
Managerial upheaval, and a lack of consistent results saw the Blues finish the 2022/23 campaign in the Premier League bottom half, for the first time since 1996, a 12th place finish.
Owner Todd Boehly is expected to invest heavily in the transfer market again this summer, as the first team squad travel to his native USA, for a summer preseason tour under the stewardship of newly-appointed manager Mauricio Pochettino.

When is Chelsea's first Premier League match 2023/24?
Chelsea will head back to the UK in the first week of August and they face a quick turnaround before their return to Premier League action.
The Premier League is set to get under way on the weekend of Saturday, August 12, however, that is subject to change, with the potential of a Friday night opener. The Premier League fixture list will be announced in full on June 15.
