Inter winger Antonio Candreva admits it is ‘nice’ to be linked with Chelsea, but says he has not been offered a move to Stamford Bridge.

Reports have claimed the Premier League champions are considering a £23 million bid for Candreva after losing out to Manchester City in the pursuit of Danilo.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who worked with Candreva during his time with the Italy national team, is rumoured to view the 30-year-old as a player who can provide competition for Victor Moses at right wing-back.

But Candreva, who only joined Inter from Lazio a year ago, insists he is happy where he is and is not pushing for another transfer.

"I'm proud to wear this shirt, I've bought into an important project here and I'm happy to be here," he told a press conference in China.

"This shirt has an important history which I honour every time I wear it.

"The links with Chelsea are nice but there's been absolutely nothing to date. The club will take care of any bids that may come in."

Candreva had been linked with a move to Chelsea during the January transfer window and was reportedly open to joining Conte’s side.

He is currently earning around £85,000 a week at Inter, with Chelsea rumoured to be willing to significantly increase his salary as Conte explores ways to further improve his squad.
