Canada has just one more match on the schedule at the 2022 World Cup, as the men's team faces Morocco on Thursday. 

After losses to Belgium and Croatia in the first two matches, Les Rouges were mathematically eliminated from advancing to the knockout stage. While it was a promising showing against Belgium despite a 1-0 loss, Canada struggled defensively against Croatia, losing 4-1. 

Canada is still searching for its first World Cup win in a FIFA men's tournament, and they have one more chance to secure the historic victory against the Atlas Lions of Morocco. 

Here is what you need to know ahead of Canada's next game at the 2022 World Cup.

When is Canada vs. Morocco?

  • Date: Thursday, Dec. 1
  • Time: 10 a.m. ET

Canada vs. Morocco is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET. It is the final group play game for Canada. 

While Canada are eliminated, Morocco will have plenty to play for. They need a win or draw to mathematically clinch a Round of 16 berth. And if they were to win by a lopsided margin, they could even finish in first place in Group F.

What channel is Canada vs. Morocco on? 

  • TV Channel: CTV, TSN

Both CTV and TSN will carry Canada's match vs. Morocco. Kickoff for the match is set for 10 a.m. ET. 

Pre-match coverage will begin at 9 a.m. with a one-hour lead-up show set to air on CTV.

World Cup matches on Thursday, Dec. 1

The final matchday in Group F will see both matches kicking off at the same time for sporting reasons.

The Canada vs. Morocco contest along with the other Group F match between Croatia and Belgium will begin simultaneously at 10 a.m. ET.

The Group E finales will follow later that same day.

How to watch the World Cup in Canada

The 2022 World Cup, which kicks off Nov. 20 in Qatar, will be televised in Canada by Bell Media, which owns CTV as well as TSN. There will be pre and post-game shows for every match, including a three-hour lead-up to Canada's matches.

TSN's studio coverage at the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be anchored by their soccer crew, led by hosts James Duthie, Luke Wileman, Lindsay Hamilton, and Kelcey Brade. 

They will be joined by a TSN panel of soccer analysts including current Canadian international Janine Beckie, former men's internationals Tosaint Ricketts and Julian de Guzman, ex-Scotland international Steven Caldwell, and former Republic of Ireland international and World Cup veteran Kevin Kilbane. Former FIFA international referee Joe Fletcher will serve as rules expert throughout the tournament.

Additionally, the World Cup can be watched in French on RDS, RDS2, or RDS Info, which are also owned by Bell Media. The World Cup final will be simulcast in French on terrestrial channel Noovo as well.

For the French-language broadcasts, Olivier Brett and Claudine Douville are the lead commentary crew, with Patrick Leduc and Jean Gounelle leading the analysis team.
