It is a place where Jurgen Klopp might enjoy a quiet sandwich and a coffee as he plots the downfall of Liverpool's next opponent.
But on Thursday, with Klopp's men entering their final preparations for Saturday's trip to Southampton, the canteen at the Premier League leaders' Melwood training ground was transformed by the raw power of the Haka.
New Zealand's rugby league team will contest the final of the Four Nations against arch rivals Australia at Anfield this weekend and dropped in on the Liverpool squad to showcase their interpretation of the iconic tribal dance.
A typically beaming Klopp enjoyed the show and, with Reds captain Jordan Henderson also in attendance, perhaps they gained some inspiration over how to add an edge to their own pre-match routine.
