Richmond Boakye-Yiadom's agent Oliver Arthur has confirmed the possibility of the striker departing Serbian topflight Red Star Belgrade, amid interest from English giants Chelsea.

The Ghana international has emerged as a top target, with a January move reportedly on the cards, in the wake of his fine form for the Red-Whites.

In 12 matches in the Serbian topflight so far, the 24-year-old has raked in 12 goals, having also netted six times in 12 appearances in the Europa League.

“Richmond will move to mainstream Europe very soon," Arthur told Citi Sports.

"It can even be this January but definitely by June, he will make the move."

Arsenal, Everton and Celtic are also reportedly interested in the services of Boakye but the striker has revealed his desire to join Chelsea due to the Blues' manager Antonio Conte, under whom the 24-year-old played at Juventus some years back.

After catching the eye of the Italian giants while on loan at lower tier side Sassuolo, the Ghanaian was snapped up by the Old Lady on a co-ownership deal with Genoa in 2012.
