Mario Pasalic has a growing list of admirers, with Real Betis now wanting to secure him as Real Madrid reach an agreement with the club for Dani Ceballos.
Betis are aiming to pay around £2.7 million for the Croatia international but Chelsea will likely look to make a profit with interest high in Italy.
Costa not at Chelsea pre-season training camp
Ex-Manchester City man Javi García is another target for Betis who are seeking to reinvest the €18 million that they will receive for Ceballos.
AC Milan are also interested in re-signing their loanee from last season on a permanent basis, while Lazio are also thought to be keen on making a move.
The 22-year-old is expected to leave Stamford Bridge despite showing up to Cobham Training Centre ahead of the new season.
Chelsea signed Pasalic for £3m from Hajduk Split in 2014 but he has yet to play for the club. He made 26 appearances for Milan last season, scoring five goals.
