After beating Sevilla with ease in midweek Champions League action to claim another three points in Group B, Arsenal turn their attentions back to the Premier League as Burnley visit the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

The Gunners suffered a controversial 1-0 loss to Newcastle last time out in the league, though Mikel Arteta's side did struggle to create opportunities in that outing as well, recording just one shot on target as they lost for the first time this season in England's top-flight.

As a result, Arsenal will be absolutely desperate to get back to winning ways here and in truth, they should do just that as Burnley remain in the relegation places ahead of kick-off after taking just one league win this season.

Their manager Vincent Kompany remains under serious pressure due to his side's poor league start, and how he'd love to claim a positive result here in London to get their season up and running finally. The Sporting News previews the game below.

    Arsenal vs Burnley best bet

    • Pick: Arsenal over 7.5 corners
    • Odds: -115 (DraftKings)

As is always the case in matches like this where one team is such a heavy favourite, it can be quite difficult to find value so we've gone outside the box here.

There's hardly any point in backing the 'both teams to score - NO' or the 'over 2.5 goals' markets here despite the fact that we think both will clear so instead, we've opted for Arsenal to have over 7.5 corners in this clash at -115 with DraftKings.

In the Premier League this season, no side has won more corners than the Gunners, their tally standing at 93 before this outing with Manchester City next on the list with 77.

When accounting for the fact that they've racked up that amount in 11 league outings, the average per match stands at 8.45 and with Burnley struggling and this match likely to be played mostly in the opposition's half, this feels like a solid option.

    Arsenal vs Burnley flier bet

    • Pick: Eddie Nketiah to score 2+ goals
    • Odds: +550 (DraftKings)

After missing Arsenal's midweek match against Sevilla with a knock, striker Eddie Nketiah is expected to return here and should be in full fitness for the visit of Burnley.

So far this season, the 24-year-old has hit five goals in 950 minutes of action for the Gunners, an average of a goal per 190 minutes. That doesn't exactly sound like the most amazing record to be backing him to score 2+ times at +550 with DraftKings here, but there's other reasons at play.

For a start, Burnley possess one of the competition's worst defences this season which should allow plenty of Arsenal opportunities here, whilst Nketiah likes to play on home soil.

All five of his Premier League goals in 2023/24 have come at the Emirates and last time out here, he struck a hat-trick versus Sheffield United, a side struggling much like Vincent Kompany's at present.
