Arsenal's 3-2 win over Manchester United last time out leaves them five points clear at the top of the Premier League.
With Manchester City and United in hot pursuit, Arsenal fans are keen for the club to strengthen in the January window to ensure their title charge remains on course in the second half of the campaign.
A positive January transfer window is necessary to maintain that form, with a number of holes to fill, thanks to injuries and squad deficiencies and Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior have already arrived through the door this month.
Mikel Arteta knows every penny counts, as the Gunners push for their first Premier League title in years, up against a dominant City side.
The Sporting News brings you a full rundown of the latest Arsenal rumours and deals for the January 2023 transfer window.

Latest Arsenal transfer news
A late twist in Arsenal's pursuit of additional midfield depth has seen Italy international Jorginho move across London from Chelsea.
Arteta lacks quality cover for Thomas Partey at the base of the midfield and Brighton's Moises Caicedo emerged as their top target. However, Albion have stood firm in their desire to keep hold of the Ecuador international during this window, having sold Leandro Trossard to the Gunners earlier in the month.
Another well-trodden path - in either direction - has now opened up between Emirates Stadium and Stamford Bridge, with Jorginho thought to be available for a cut-price £12 million as Chelsea seek to bring their unwieldy squad into line.
Alongside that headline-grabber, there are a few other rumours to keep an eye on.

Gunners loan out Lokonga to Palace
With Jorginho joining Arsenal, the Gunners have decided to let midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga move to Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.
The Belgian international will be hoping to get Premier League minutes after falling behind Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka in the Arsenal midfield pecking order.

Arsenal confirm Jorginho signing
In a surprise deadline day move, Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has joined Arsenal on a deal believed to be worth £12m.
The 31-year-old, who wear No.20 at the Emirates, has signed an 18-month deal with an option for a further 12 months.
Jorginho is expected to provide competition in central midfield alongside the likes of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka.

Jorginho pictured in Arsenal shirt, Lokonga set for Palace
Jorginho's surprise move to Arsenal looks all but sealed after the midfielder was pictured in a Gunners' shirt.
Arsenal have agreed a £12m deal for his transfer with the player set to sign an 18-month contract with the option of a further year.
It seems a medical has been passed and it's a case of waiting for Arsenal to officially announce a deal.
Once that's done, it looks like it will be a case of one in, one out for Mikel Arteta in midfield. Sambi Lokonga has reportedly undergone a medical for a loan switch to Crystal Palace.

Jorginho close to Arsenal switch as trail goes cold on Caicedo
Arsenal were claimed to have made a new offer of around £70 million ($86.6m) for Caicedo, which was turned down despite being more in line with Brighton's valuation after an initial £60m ($74.2m) approach was knocked back.
Chelsea were also interested in Caicedo but their attention has now returned to prising Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for a British record fee.
This combination of circumstances are likely to result in Jorginho becoming an Arsenal player in a deal worth £12million
Out of contract at the end of the season, the 31-year-old former Napoli playmaker is a proven winner with Euro 2020 and Champions League medals in his collection and could represent a perfect addition as Arsenal seek an elusive Premier League triumph.

Norwich sign Marquinhos on loan
Brazilian winger Marquinhos has joined Norwich City for the remainder of the 2022/23 season from Premier League leaders Arsenal.
The teenager has made six appearances for the Gunners since joining from São Paulo last summer and will now hope to get more game time under his belt at the Championship side.
Speaking at the announcement of his transfer, Marquinhos said: "I'm really happy to arrive here in Norwich and very excited to play my first game.
"I've learnt a lot as part of my adaptation here in England. It's totally different to Brazil. It's more intensive but I'm adapting well in order to help Norwich."
Arsenal open talks with Fresneda
The Gunners have begun discussions with Real Valladolid over a move for Ivan Fresneda.
Fabrizio Romano claims there are several clubs interested with Borussia Dortmund among the interested parties.
Reports suggest a fee of around £13m is claimed to have been finalised with Valladolid, as well as the 18-year-old heading back to the Spanish club on loan for the remainder of the season.

Arsenal eye shock loan deal for Camavinga
According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal could attempt to sign Eduardo Camavinga on loan from Real Madrid this month.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been mostly used as a substitute this season and could consider a temporary switch to England for more consistent playing time.
Arsenal chiefs are said to be prepared to back Arteta's plans in this window in order to give him the best chance of winning the Premier League title.
However, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti later dismissed the idea of letting Camavinga leave, describing the player as "untouchable".

Kiwior signs with Arsenal
Arsenal have completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior from Spezia after agreeing personal terms with the player.
Fabrizio Romano claims a fee in excess of €20m with add-ons was enough to secure the defender's signature with Kiwior putting pen to paper on a five-year deal.
The Polish 22-year-old plays at centre-back and had also attracted interested from Borussia Dortmund and Napoli.

Gunners announce Leandro Trossard move
Arsenal have announced the signing of Leandro Trossard for an initial fee of £21m.
Belgian international Trossard had indicated his intention to leave the AMEX Stadium, following a high profile disagreement with boss Roberto De Zerbi, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all linked with a possible bid.
However, the Gunners have acted quickly and confirmed his arrival on January 20, the player signing a long-term deal.

North London Diaby?
Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby has emerged as another alternative to Mykhaylo Mudryk as Mikel Arteta's hunt for a wide attacker continues.
Sky Sports reported the Gunners have made contact with the Bundesliga club over the 23-year-old former Paris Saint-Germain youngster.
Leverkusen would seemingly be reluctant to sell mid-season, having quoted an asking price of £88.5 million during the close season for Diaby, who is under contract until 2025. That places him very much in the Mudryk price bracket.
Arsenal chief Edu makes contact with Barcelona
Reports in Spain first linked former City star Ferran Torres to Arsenal in early December, and the rumour has gained further steam since then.
Torres, a member of the Spain squad at the 2022 World Cup, has struggled for time at Barcelona. He began as a starter earlier this season, but failed to impress, and dropped to the bench behind Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, and Ansu Fati.
On January 16, 90min.com claimed Arsenal chief Edu had reached out to Barcelona over the possibility of signing Torres or Raphina.
Former target Raphinha 'available'
Raphinha was linked to Arsenal and Chelsea last summer after he top-scored for Leeds with 11 goals to help the Whites escape Premier League relegation.
Barcelona spent £55m ($66.7m) on the Brazilian in July, where he has been directly involved in five goals in 20 appearances, in the top flight and Champions League.
However, El Chiringuito has reported he is available, as Barca tries to improve their financial position in pursuit of more signings.
With Raphinha struggling to find the form he reached with Leeds, and Barca keen to sell, Arsenal would be likely to succeed with a lower bid than the Spanish side's final offer for him, less than six months ago.
