The Copa America 2024 final promises to be a thrilling encounter as Colombia face Argentina in Miami.
Los Cafeteros, seeking their first title since 2001, are aiming to extend their national-record unbeaten streak to 29 matches. James Rodriguez, who set a tournament record with six assists, will be key to their attack.
Colombia have been impressive, but they will miss right-back Daniel Munoz, suspended for the final after two yellow cards against Uruguay. Santiago Arias is expected to fill in, slightly altering the team's approach.
Argentina, the reigning champions, have had a mixed tournament. Lionel Messi, battling fitness issues, scored in their 2-0 semifinal win over Canada after previously struggling to influence some games. However, it's the form of Lautaro Martinez and Julian Alvarez that has driven their success.
Argentina's defence will need to be sharp, particularly against set plays, where James excels.
Both teams have shown resilience and skill, making this final a must-watch event. Fans can expect a competitive game as Colombia look to end their long wait for a title, while Argentina attempt to defend their crown.

Argentina vs. Colombia lineups, starting 11, team news
Scaloni has not flagged up any fresh injury concerns following the win over Canada and he made a few substitutions late on against Jesse Marsch's team to allow for extra rest.
Seven players have started at least four games for Argentina at the tournament, with goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez the only ever-present, Scaloni having otherwise freshened things up for their dead rubber group-stage win over Peru.
However, he does have some key calls to make. Nahuel Molina has been tipped to start over Gonzalo Montiel at right-back given the latter has been managing an ankle problem this week. Nico Gonzalez will likely line up in midfield.
Julian Alvarez started over Lautaro Martinez against Canada despite the latter leading the Golden Boot race with four goals, and the Manchester City striker should keep his place. Angel Di Maria will probably start on the bench for what is set to be his last match for the national team.
Argentina predicted lineup (4-4-2, right to left): E. Martinez — Molina, Romero, Li. Martinez, Tagliafico — De Paul, Fernandez, Mac Allister, Gonzalez — Alvarez, Messi.
Colombia will be forced into at least one change with Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz suspended after being sent off against Uruguay.
CONMEBOL has not confirmed any additional player bans following ugly scenes after the game in North Carolina, but Nestor Lorenzo is set to stick with a largely unchanged team.
Santiago Arias is set to come in for Munoz with Liverpool's Luis Diaz in attack alongside captain James Rodriguez. Richard Rios is battling to be fit and will likely be replaced by Matheus Uribe if he cannot start.
Colombia predicted lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Vargas — S. Arias, Sanchez, Cuesta, Mojica — Rios, Lerma — J. Arias, James, Diaz — Cordoba.
Argentina vs. Colombia prediction
- Score prediction: Argentina 2-1 Colombia.
Argentina are favourites to win the final. The reigning Copa America and World Cup champions have been dominant in recent years, reaching three of the past four finals in this competition.
Argentina's defence has been exceptional, conceding only one goal in the tournament, and Messi remains capable of producing magic to decide any contest.
Colombia, though a formidable opponent with the longest unbeaten streak in their history (28 games) and a strong performance against Panama, face a tough challenge. With a solid defence, a top goalkeeper in Emiliano Martinez, and Messi leading the charge, Argentina's experience and quality should see them retain their Copa crown.
