Ghana international Albert Adomah could crown a spectacular season with the Supporters’ Player of the Year accolade at Aston Villa’s End of Season Awards.

The 30-year-old is among a list of 15 players shortlisted for the gong.

Only players with 10 or more English Championship games under their belt this season qualified to be nominated.

Adomah is a huge favourite for the award due to his purple patch of form this campaign.

After 30 appearances involving 27 starts, the attacker has notched 14 goals, leaving him as the club’s top scorer. He also has five assists to his name.

The tally sees him two goals above his 2013-14 campaign record of 12 while on the books of Middlesbrough.

Despite his good form, Adomah faces stiff competition from the likes of goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, James Chester, captain John Terry, Conor Hourihane, Robert Snodgrass and Jack Grealish.

Votes will decide the winner of the award.

The exercise will go on until 13th April, with the winner expected to be revealed at the Aston Villa End of Season Awards Dinner on 22nd April.

Adomah joined Steve Bruce's outfit from Middlesbrough in 2016.
