Pick: After covering five of six, UConn has now dropped three straight against the number. The Huskies are just 4-8 ATS in conference play and 5-5 ATS at home.
SMU is 5-3 ATS on the road and has been a bit inconsistent lately, alternating wins and losses in its last six. Two of those wins came against Gonzaga and Memphis, while the losses were against Temple, Houston and Tulsa.
This line seems pretty spot on, with SMU about a point better than UConn and the Huskies getting four at home. We'll offer a lean on SMU with 65 percent of bettors backing UConn, especially if the line creeps up toward +4.
