Despite its impressive wins over Gonzaga and Virginia, Syracuse has still been installed as a 9.5-point underdog against North Carolina in the Final Four. Villanova is a 2-point favorite over Oklahoma in the other national semifinal.
North Carolina has been a favorite of at least five points in each of its first four games in this tournament, and covered at a similar number with a 14-point win over Notre Dame in the Elite Eight.
The Orange and Tar Heels met twice this season. UNC won 84-73 as a 7.5-point road favorite in mid-January, then won again (but didn't cover) 75-70 as 13-point home favorites at the end of February.
