Monday marked the official start to Super Bowl week as State Farm Arena in Atlanta hosted Super Bowl 53 'Opening Night.'

The Rams and the Patriots each had an hour of availability to be asked anything and everything by the media.

For Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, this was nothing old as the duo has made nine Super Bowl appearances. But for many players on the Rams, this was an entirely new experience.

Here's a rundown of the best, worst and wildest moments from Super Bowl 53's 'Opening Night.'

Todd Gurley

Todd Gurley was sporting a flashy chain around his neck and was asked how much it cost.

"I don't rock nothin' less than a hundred [thousand] 'round my neck," Gurley said. "You've got to come correct, it's Super Bowl 53."

Teammate Aqib Talib heard about Gurley's comment and wasn't shy to share what he thought:

Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald was asked why defensive players are not often considered for MVP contention and voiced his opinion.

"I don't know," Donald said. "That's up to the voters or who ever's doing that. But it's time for a change. It's a quarterback every year, let's see somebody different win it, right?"

Donald's been known to go shirtless and show off his physique in photos:

When asked why he's always taking his shirt off in photos, his response was memorable: "I got muscles, I got a six pack now," Donald said. "It took me 27 years to get these, man. I'm gonna show 'em."

Nickell Robey-Coleman

Nickell Robey-Coleman was involved in the controversial no-call during the Rams' win over the Saints in the NFC championship game. He was asked about the no-call and shared his thoughts:

"Obviously I was lined up wrong," Robey-Coleman said. "I was just trying to come from the other side of the field to make a play. I got no-called, so we moved on ...

"They didn't make a call, so I gotta respect their call. We've moved on as a team. These last eight days — from the New Orleans community — has been crazy. I've got a lot of social media traffic.

"I ignored it. LA's been showing me so much love, I haven't been too focused on it. I just been moving on and focusing on the next task at hand and that's beating New England."

Wade Phillips

Wade Phillips made headlines Sunday for an outfit he wore during the Rams' trip to Atlanta:

Phillips was asked about the outfit and gave some context:

"I wore my dad's jacket ... that he wore when I was playing, coaching with the Oilers with him," Phillips said. "I thought it was really a good idea. I think about him after every game."

Tom Brady

Tom Brady was asked if he had any advice for Jared Goff for Sunday's game:

Former teammate and current NFL Network analyst Willie McGinest asked Brady who he has heard doubting the Patriots.

"For the most part, I just ignore the noise," Brady said.

"But every once in a while, something trickles in. We had plenty of it ... I'm sure there will be a lot of clips. It is what it is. It just really matters what we think.

"That's the important lesson from it all. I hope that everyone can take from it: it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, it matters what you think. And if you think you can get the job done, you have the confidence to do it, that's all that matters."

Guillermo from "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" had Brady sign a pillow with Brady's face on it. Brady then proceeded to give Guillermo a hug:

Julian Edelman

Julian Edelman's beard was bound to be brought up, and eventually, it was:

Bill Belichick

When pressed what New England needs to stop LA from doing during the game, Belichick gave a by-the-numbers response:

"We can't talk about that," Bill Belichick laughed. "That's classified information."

Rob Gronkowski

Gronk was true to form all night:

Devin & Jason McCourty

The McCourty twins were on the same team this season for the first time since college, and the two of them are excited for the opportunity to win a championship together:

Devin was asked who gets the brunt of ticket requests from friends and family: "Oh [Jason] does," Devin McCourty said. "This is his first time. He has to take all of that, he got to eat that up."
