Jadon Sancho has been excluded from Manchester United's squad for their Premier League opener against Fulham.
This decision comes despite manager Erik ten Hag indicating that he had resolved his previous issues with the 24-year-old winger, who returned to first-team training in July after a prolonged absence.
Sancho's return to the squad in the Community Shield was his first since being sidelined by Ten Hag following a defeat to Arsenal in September 2023.

At present it is unclear why Sancho has been left out although there have been rumors of an exit this summer, with PSG and Chelsea reportedly interested.
You'd expect Ten Hag will be asked questions ahead of the game when he conducts his pre-match interview with broadcasters Sky Sports. If not, he will be asked post-match.

On Friday evening, instead of Sancho, Antony was selected to fill the winger position on the bench.
Antony was included in United's pre-season tour but did not start a game, and remained on the bench during the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City the previous Sunday. Sancho, however, made a brief appearance in that match as a late substitute, though he missed a crucial penalty in the shootout.
New signing Noussair Mazraoui makes his debut for United, starting in defence, while the other new defensive signing Matthijs de Ligt starts the game from the bench.
Starting lineups:
- Man United lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Onana (GK) — Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Mazraoui — Casemiro, Mainoo, Mount — Amad, Fernandes, Rashford.
- Fulham lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Leno (GK) — Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson —Pereira, Lukic, Smith Rowe — Traore, Muniz, Iwobi.
