Manchester United travel to West Brom on Saturday looking for a third successive away victory and further momentum after edging past Bournemouth in midweek.

A first-half Romelu Lukaku strike was enough to earn the Red Devils the points against the Cherries and, perhaps more importantly, saw the club bounce back from a derby-day defeat at home to Manchester City with a victory.

Jose Mourinho's men go up against a West Brom side which held Liverpool to a draw at Anfield in the week but United will be expected to continue their fine form on the road thus far this season.

GAME PREVIEW

Romelu Lukak Manchester United

Manchester United play their second game in four days on Saturday as they travel to the Hawthorns, having beaten Bournemouth 1-0 on Wednesday evening.

The three points were warmly accepted by Mourinho after seeing United's four-game win streak being ended by neighbours Manchester City at Old Trafford last week.

City's victory at United, and indeed following their 4-0 thrashing of Swansea in midweek, mean Pep Guardiola's side come into the weekend 11 points ahead of their rivals.

United are tasked with taking on Pardew's West Brom, who earned a point against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday.

Lukaku will also be going up against his former club - the Belgium international struck a hat-trick for the Baggies against United in a memorable 5-5 draw in 2013, which would be Sir Alex Ferguson's final game in charge of the club.
