Arsene Wenger says whether or not Arsenal finish above Tottenham in the Premier League has become important for the first time.
Sitting 14 points ahead of their rivals, Spurs will be sure of finishing above the Gunners if they win Sunday's derby at White Hart Lane, having failed to do so in 20 years.
Arsenal fans have long enjoyed celebrating the day their club confirm the day they finish above their city rivals in the league, naming it 'St Totteringham's Day'.
While Mauricio Pochettino dismissed the celebration as 'silly', Wenger admits that his side's failing to overtake them is significant.
"When you finish 20 years above them it was not important, and suddenly now it becomes important," he told reporters.
"I think yes, it matters. Of course we want to be stronger than Spurs, we want to be stronger than anybody."
Tottenham confirmed they will move from White Hart Lane to Wembley next season while a new stadium is built, and Wenger says they are in for a rough transition.
Conte can't guarantee Hazard stay
"[It will be] very difficult, much more you can imagine," he said. "First of all, you face financial restrictions, which we did [moving from Highbury to Emirates Stadium]. Overall, it might be less in future because you have more income.
"Secondly, because you don't feel at home like you were before. And you need to recreate a kind of history to feel comfortable and to feel like you play at home. I would say it can take two years [to feel at home]."
