Chelsea have announced the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers as their summer spending spree continues.
Neto has signed a seven-year contract and will soon begin training with his new teammates at Cobham ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Enzo Maresca's side host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on the opening weekend of the season.
They will also be without Reece James, who is suspended and has recently picked up another injury.

"I feel really grateful to have joined this club," said the 24-year-old. "I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt."

Neto began his career in Braga's youth system, where his talent was first on show. He made his first-team debut in May 2017, scoring in a 4-0 win over Nacional.
He then spent two years on loan with Italian giants Lazio, where he won the Coppa Italia. The move then became a permanent one just before the 2018/19 season, and Neto transferred to Wolves in August 2019.
During his debut for Wolves, he scored and assisted in a 4-0 victory over Pyunik in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, quickly becoming a key player in their attack.
The winger went on to make 135 appearances for the club, contributing 11 goals in 20 Premier League matches last season.
During his time at Molineux, he established himself as a regular in the Portugal national team, earning ten caps, with the latest coming during this summer’s European Championship.
Wolves' sporting director Matt Hobbs also shared his say on the deal: "For the club, it’s the right deal at the right time.
"It’s hard when it’s someone who everyone has so much affinity for as a person to look at it as a business, but football is a business and it was the right timing and the right deal, so from that perspective, the football club are happy."
